| Hovingham Fireplaces was established in 1971 by proprietor Malcolm Hutton who first came to the village of Hovingham when he was sales manager for Tilcon quarry which was just on the outskirts of this popular village
The quarry sold fireplaces mainly of limestone from this area but sadly closed down so Hovingham Fireplaces was started. |
Since that day the firm has grown slowly but surely on the quality of service it offers. Malcolm's son, Mark Hutton joined the business in the early 1980's. The firm is Gas Safe and Hetas Registered, which means all the fitting of fireplaces and stoves is done in house by qualified fitters and not sub contracted out maintaining high standards and satisfied customers for over 40 years. |
